interact conference... =)

dear interactors who are going for the District Conference,

there are some info which you all need to know and here they are:

1. For the Secretariats, please gather at Royal Klang Club on the 8th Dec 2009 at 8am sharp or before.

2. For the rest of the interactors, at Padang Sultan Sulaiman on the 10th Dec 2009, 8am sharp or before.

3. On the 13th, everyone will be leaving Inti at 3pm and will approximately reach Klang town by 4.30pm.

*Please arrange your transportation and remember, PUNCTUALITY. =)*

Dressing codes:
1. Opening ceremony which is on the 11th, everyone is required to wear either interact uniform with tie or school uniform.
2. Workshops, please wear your interact t-shirt. (each of you will receive 2 conference t-shirts too.)
3. Sports and outdoor events, collared t-shirt with track pants (no shorts)
4. Formal night/ Dinner, girls are required to wear either gown or blouse and skirt while for the guys, shirt, long pants and tie.

*no slipper, sandals, sleeveless shirts, mini skirts and shorts throughout the events*

and and Bring along pillow, blanket, toiletries and slippers(for bathroom use) too.

A special attention to Int. Lee Hao Jia,
please bring along your DSLR as you're the photographer for the event. =)

Hello people!

Shopping Spree was a great success, with the help of our Interactors and also certain non-Interactors. The kids from Happy Home arrived at Tesco at about 10.00 am. The shopping session made our Interactors and the kids to get to know each other well and also form a very good relationship. The main objective of this project is to buy new clothes for the kids in conjunction with the Childrens' Day on 31st October. A total of 14 Interactors helped out to accomplish this project. So, Thank You very much to all the Interactors who attended this Shopping Spree and making it a success. =D

Aloha!

The interact club of SMK ACS Klang is having a new plan for the kids from Happy Home! The Shopping Spree!! =D

Date: 14th November 2009
Time: 9.45 am (the kids will arrive at 10.00am)
Venue: Tesco, Bukit Tinggi.

We are getting 7 kids from Happy Home and 15 interactors are needed to help out in this project. Further information will be updated soon.

P/S: Dress code for the interactors : Interact club t-shirt and pants.

Hello people!
There's an update about our club activities. In conjunction with the school's "Projek Lestari", teachers have invited a speaker to give a motivational talk. So, our teachers wants us(Interact Club members) to conduct this event.

The details of this talk are as follows:
DATE: 12th November (Thurs)
TIME: 11.00am- 12.30pm
VENUE: Dewan Kuliah, ACS

On Thursday, we have to arrange the food for the listeners and the speaker, set up the projector and screen, and arrange one emcee for the day.
The food and drinks will be sponsored by the Interact Club of our school. All Interactors are required to attend this talk. Teacher and President, Int. Pravin want ALL the interactors to come to school on Thursday to attend this talk and support our combined project with the school's authority. This is a very special request from both of them. So, to all the Interactors, please show yourself up on this Thursday(at least.xD).

Next will be about the Shopping Spree. There will be a BOD meeting tomorrow in school to discuss about this project. So, all the BOD, please attend this meeting. Updates will be on this blog tomorrow once the confirmed details are obtained. Thank You for reading.

NOTE:
For those Interactors who are interested to attend the Dist. Int. Conference, please contact or meet Int. Cindy to get the entry forms. The closing date is 13th Nov. So, hurry up guys!!

ICC Meeting 1/11/09

Well, here the updates on today's ICC meeting. The discussions were about the DGV, Food Fair and also Dist. Conference.

1) Dist. Gov. Visit
-all members should be there(HICT) by 2.30 pm.
-required 20 Interactors from each school

2) Food Fair
-10 Interact schools are divided into 2 teams to handle 4 food stalls each.
GROUP 1:
MGS,
Convent,
ACS,
Batu Unjur and
Sultan Abdul Samad.

Stalls which will be handled: Ice kacang, Cendol, Sandwiches and Curry Puffs.

-Int. Sam will be leading all the interactors from our school on this Food Fair.
-We have to find sponsors to subsidise these items.
-Tasks will be distributed equally among the 5 schools.

NOTE:
There will be a meeting next week once school starts. Information will be given later about the meeting. Please contact Int. Janarthana to give in your name for the DGV asap!
